The PEP-module aligns the completion of orders with the current workforce capacity. It supports medium-term planning and urgent workforce restructuring (as a result of performance shift or sickness) in a highly effective way. The capacity requirements of a given area and the personal needs of employees like compulsory working hours, required time off can all be taken into consideration. Planning groups can be formed for certain working procedures within which employees can be further selected based on shift codes. Working procedures, performance standards, competencies and skills can be defined. Performance requirements can also be set and overtime compensation can be avoided.
